Deborah Ortiz, B.A.Paralegal
Deborah Ortiz is a Los Angeles native and daughter of two Salvadoran immigrants. She received a full academic scholarship to attend Scripps College where she graduated Cum Laude with a major in Human Biology and a minor in Chicano Studies. She also received honors on her thesis, The Association between Emotional Intelligence and Sexual Risk Behavior among Undergraduate College Students in the Greater Los Angeles. In her free time, she is part of the Planned Parenthood Young Professionals in Los Angeles, Co-Chair of the LA Chapter for California Latinas for Reproductive Justice, and a mentor for Las Fotos Project, a photography program for young girls. As a member of the Slatter Law Firm, her goal is to assist each client in their case with respect and dignity.
